Our teacher’s use of communicative strategies encourages pedagogic practices that are interactive in nature and is more likely to impact on student learning outcomes.

Some specific strategies, that promoted this interactive pedagogy includes:

Creating a safe environment in which students are supported in their learning drawing on student’s backgrounds and experiences Feedback, sustained attention and inclusion. Teaching with technology engages students with different kinds of stimuli-involve in activity based learning.

Experiential Learning

Our institute is constantly striving to foster strong links with the industry so as to bring invaluable national and international experience into the classrooms. Visits to relevant sectors of the industry are organized regularly to provide onsite learning experience.

Industry internship is part of the course structure and the activity is supported by the placement cell of the academy. College focuses on hands-on training so that graduates hit the work force with high quality standards.

Balancing breadth and depth

The program includes four core courses to prepare for research, contemporary issues in emerging concepts in Synthetic and natural Drug Discovery and derivatisation, preformulation and formulation studies, preclinical and clinical evaluations, Nano Technology and development of methodologies.

Integrating research and problem solving

Through specialization research courses, this program enhances your skills to undertake practical problems in all the mentioned domains and attend to a specific area in new drug discovery and development process.

Merging theory and practice

The doctoral program emphasizes established and emerging theory that has proven potential for identifying, structuring, and solving issues in pharmaceutical research. You collaborate with seasoned professionals and accomplished faculty to advance knowledge in drug discovery and development.

Classroom and online education

By incorporating the advantages of both co-located contemporary instruction and asynchronous distributed learning this program delivers effective and technical education.

Seminars continue your learning beyond the classroom. Core courses will however be delivered in college.

The structural layout of the program and its courses requires that each course be divided in lecture, tutorial and practical sessions. Duration of each session as given in the column against the course in the course scheme.

Lecture sessions

Lectures are delivered by traditional – marker white board method, power point method, and also supplemented by modern Communication methods.

Live lecture session

Live lecture sessions are organized for the students by eminent professors around the globe.

Encourage students in Experiment designing

The students are encouraged to ask questions and involve in group discussion to the extent allowed by the teacher. In some subjects where case study based methodology is adopted, the lectures are supplemented by discussions on case studies.

Pharmaceutical Tutorials

The tutorial sessions are small groups of students interacting with the teacher, solving application oriented analytical problems. The tutorial sessions are very interactive and inculcate problem solving skills in the students.

Pharmaceutical Lab / Practical Sessions

During lab / practical sessions, the students work on prescribed list of experiments and do what they have learnt in the Lecture / Tutorial sessions.

 Creating adaptable pharmacy learning environment

As per the swift Technical expansion and the new learning solutions are available and it enables more information and communications technology a focal point of learning environment for the students. School of Pharmacy is determined to provide an adaptable learning to the students.

Learning through manifold channels

We focus in the planning of versatile studying and working methods which revolves around the learner. The learning environment is built taking into account the needs of various learners, enabling the use of manifold channels in learning situations like Problem and project based learning Channel, Industrial interactive channel, on-hand training channel and so on.

Learning through visual and audio environment

The illustration atmosphere greatly influences the awareness of visual stimuli as well as the learning outcomes and learning attitudes of the students. Every method and approaches is practiced through the use of audio and visual learning pedagogy, which benefit the students in one or the other way.

Teaching through assessment and peer review

Assessment play vital role in analyzing the outcome of the teaching learning process. This is accomplished by regular class test, assignments and tutorials. A peer review is than presented to students for their presentation and projection.

Interactive methods and program level strategies

Interactive methods are adopted through which simulation model of various virtual prototype is developed, which play important step for enhancing the knowledge of students. Small group teaching is also practiced for bringing out the best. A program level strategy mainly focuses on the various emerging research and entrepreneurship areas of Pharmacy
